About me
My name is Yuanchen (Brian) Tang(唐元宸). I am a first-year PhD student in Computer Science at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, working with Prof. Ruta Mehta and Prof. Bhaskar Ray Chaudhury. Previously, I graduated from Turing Class at Peking University. I have been working as a research intern at PKU CFCS, fortunately advised by Prof. Xiaotie Deng. And I had a wonderful summer at CMU working with Prof. Steven Wu. My academic interests lies at the interface between computer science and economics, particularly in algorithmic game theory and machine learning. I’m also a fan of cryptography.

I love various kinds of sports, especially table tennis and basketball, and I’m a huge fan of Stephen Curry. Music also plays a significant role in my life. I has a good relative pitch, and always being fascinated by voices accurately navigating through harmonious melodies. Additionally, I enjoy interacting with people and exploring patterns of human behavior in social settings, which enriches my insights for both research and personal lifestyle.
